Vice President of Communication for the Americas - Health and Wellness

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join their leadership team as the Vice President of Communication for the Americas in Health and Wellness. In this role, you will play a key strategic and tactical role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with their business objectives, enhance our brand reputation, and drive engagement with key stakeholders.
Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a high-performing communication team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Public Relations, and Legal, to ensure seamless execution of communication initiatives.
Brand Reputation Management: Safeguard and enhance the company's reputation by monitoring media coverage, proactively addressing potential issues, and developing crisis communication plans.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, industry partners, and media. Serve as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary.
Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling and impactful content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, website, and internal communications.
Employee Communication: Develop and implement internal communication strategies that foster employee engagement, alignment with company values, and a positive organizational culture.
Metrics and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies. Analyze data and provide insights to continuously improve communication efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a senior communication leadership role within the Health and Wellness industry.
Strong understanding of the Americas market and cultural nuances.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated success in crisis communication and issues management.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into effective communication strategies.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
