As we continue to expand our presence and offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the Vice President of Communications.

 

The Vice President of Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the communication strategy for our client. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans that enhance the company's reputation, support business objectives, and engage various stakeholders. The role involves leading a talented team of communication professionals and collaborating with internal and external partners.

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with the company's business goals and values.
  • Identify key messages and ensure consistent communication across various channels.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and international media outlets.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for positive media coverage and manage crisis communication effectively.
  • Develop and implement internal communication programs that foster employee engagement and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate with senior leaders to convey important messages to the internal audience.

 

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, industry associations, and community partners.

  • Represent the company at relevant industry events and forums.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media.
  • Ensure all communication materials align with the company's brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of communication professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Implement metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
  • Regularly assess and report on the impact of communication efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior communication role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing media relations and crisis communication.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication plans.
  • Leadership experience in managing high-performing teams.
