Chief Communications Officer - 300k+Bonus & Incentives - NYC - On-Site Health & Wellness - Company will look at candidates outside of NY for relo.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Communications Officer to join our clients leadership team and lead their communication and public relations efforts. As their CCO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication strategies that promote and enhance their reputation and brand in the health and wellness industry (food and beverage, clothing, app, and other revenue streams). You will also oversee the creation and distribution of all forms of media and content (there is a team in place, you will help build the existing team in the US and as well as a global component.
You will manage oversee crisis communication plans, build and maintain positive relationships with media outlets and influencers, and oversee internal communications to ensure that their employees are informed and engaged. You will also direct and develop a high-performing communication team and provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on communication matters.
Requirements.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in communication, public relations, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. You should also have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and public relations strategies, managing crisis communication efforts, and building strong relationships with media and stakeholders. You should have a passion for health and wellness and a deep understanding of the industry trends and challenges.
